Dear Friends,

Throughout 2020, we've all seen the many ways that immigrant survivors of violence have been placed at even greater peril than usual. While COVID-19 has disproportionately affected communities with the least resources, xenophobic federal policies have continued to increase. And yet, looking back on this tumultuous year, we are more grateful than ever that you, our supporters, stand with us to create a safer and more just world for immigrant survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

This past year at ASISTA, we helped in over 1,300 cases like Tatiana’s. We’re also spearheading federal policy and litigation efforts with our partners to reverse government attacks on survivors’ safety and dignity, while training advocates and attorneys on the unending torrent of developments affecting survivors.

Even with all the challenges that 2020 brought, you stood by us. Here are some highlights of what your support helped us to accomplish this past year:

We couldn't do this critical work without you. As we forge ahead into 2021, will you please support ASISTA’s efforts with a generous donation today?  (And see below--your donation may come with an added tax benefit this year!)

From all of us at ASISTA, thank you most sincerely for your support--and for your commitment to upholding the dignity, rights, and liberty of immigrant survivors of violence.

In solidarity,

Kirsten Rambo

Executive Director

PS: Did you know that, thanks to the CARES Act, your contributions to ASISTA may be eligible for a 100% tax deduction? This includes up to $300 per person, and $600 per married couple--even if you don't itemize! (We are not tax professionals; please consult your tax advisor for details.)
