Session Three: Termination of Proceedings and Prosecutorial Discretion for Survivors (1.5 hrs.)
In this session, we will cover the newly effective EOIR rule “Efficient Case and Docket Management in Immigration Proceedings,” and policy-based strategies for representing survivors in removal proceedings, including prosecutorial discretion with OPLA and the ICE Victim-Centered Approach. Discussion will include both the intent and implementation of the policies, and how the new EOIR rule may affect representation of survivors in removal proceedings.
