Join ASISTA webinar, Policies in Practice: 2023 Review, for a thorough review of recent policy updates relevant to practitioners serving survivors of crime and trafficking. ASISTA will share recent answers from USCIS to various questions raised by members in prior webinars, technical assistance sections, and Experts Listserv posts. Topics include clarification of adjudication practices for Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence; and USCIS’s approach to difficulties with biometrics for nonimmigrant visa applicants abroad. The audience will also be invited to share input on recent experiences and how announced policies are being carried out in practice. In addition, experts will discuss the new expedited deferred action process for noncitizens involved in labor disputes and how to harness it for survivors.
